What does The Barmen do?

The Barmen provide premium mobile bar services for weddings, private events and corporate functions. We deliver experienced bartenders, refined service and a seamless bar experience — from intimate celebrations to large-scale events.

What types of events do you service?

We cater to weddings, engagements, birthdays, private parties, corporate functions, brand activations and cocktail masterclasses. If your event involves good people and great drinks, we’re the right fit.

Where are you located and how far do you travel?
​
We service events across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Travel outside metropolitan areas can be arranged and will be discussed transparently during the quoting process.

Bookings & Pricing

How do I book The Barmen?
 
Simply submit an enquiry through our website. Once we confirm availability and provide a tailored quote, a deposit is required to secure your date.
 

How far in advance should I book?
 
Popular dates book out quickly, particularly during peak wedding and event seasons. We recommend enquiring as early as possible, however we will always do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings where availability allows.
 

Is there a minimum booking time?
 
Yes. Our services are priced with a minimum booking duration to ensure a high standard of preparation, service and pack-down. Minimums will be outlined clearly in your quote.


Are there any additional or hidden costs?
 
No. All pricing is provided upfront. Any additional fees such as travel, extended service time or optional upgrades are discussed and approved prior to your event.

 

Drinks & Bar Options
 
What drinks can you serve?
 
We serve beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, bespoke signature drinks and refined mocktails. Menus can be fully customised to suit your event style, guest preferences and venue requirements.
 

Can you create a custom cocktail menu?
 
Absolutely. We specialise in tailored cocktail menus designed to complement your event aesthetic, season and guest profile.


Do you offer BYO or all-inclusive bar packages?

Yes. We offer flexible service options including BYO alcohol, bar tab management and all-inclusive packages. We’ll guide you toward the best option for your event.
 

Can you help us work out how much alcohol we need?
 
Yes. If you are supplying your own alcohol, we provide clear purchasing guidance to ensure you’re well stocked without unnecessary overspend.



Equipment & Setup
 
Do you provide the bar, glassware and ice?
 
Yes. We can supply premium mobile bar setups, professional glassware, ice, garnishes and all essential bar equipment. Inclusions will be clearly detailed in your proposal.
 

Do you require power or water access?
 
Most setups don’t require access to power, but most likely light! Water access is recommended where possible. If your venue has limitations, we’ll work with you to find a suitable solution.
 

How early do you arrive to set up?
 
Our team arrives a minimum of 1-1.5 hours prior to service commencement to ensure the bar is fully prepared and service begins seamlessly.
 


Staffing & Service
 
How many bartenders will I need?
 

Staffing is based on guest numbers, drink selection and service style. We’ll recommend the optimal number of bartenders to ensure efficient service and minimal wait times. It is our expertise, as we will staff perfectly for your event, and wont sacrifice on quality to suit a desired amount of staff. 
 

Are your bartenders qualified and insured?
 
Yes. All bartenders are experienced professionals and fully qualified. We prioritise responsible service, professionalism and exceptional guest experience.


Is set up and pack down included?

Yes of course! We only quote for dedicated serving time. We will leave you event clean and with a ‘last round’ of your cocktail options!
 
 Do you serve non-alcoholic beverages?
 
Yes. We are happy to serve soft drinks, mocktails and non-alcoholic options. Alcohol is never served to underage guests.
 

 
Logistics & Policies
 
What if my venue already has a bar?
 
No problem. We can work with existing bar infrastructure or supply our own setup depending on what best suits the space and service flow.
 

Do you clean up after the event?
 
Yes. We pack down and leave our service area clean and orderly. Venue-specific waste requirements can be discussed in advance.
 
Are travel fees applicable?

Travel fees may apply for events outside our standard service areas. These are always discussed prior to booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation and change policies are outlined clearly in our terms and conditions, which are provided during the booking process.
