Most private parties happen in ordinary homes with ordinary kitchens. We have set up in garages, carports, pool areas and penthouse lounges.

Turn it up
Some parties want good drinks and better conversation. Others want the music up and nonsense by 9pm. Both are fine by us.

Good to know
An RSA and RMLV trained bartender who arrives 1 to 1.5 hours before service with their own tools. On The Barmen Plus we add the mobile bar, glassware, ice, garnish and equipment. Set-up and pack-down are included and never billed as service time. Searching "hire bartender for private event"? This is that service.
Most set-ups need no power, but they do need light, so an outdoor bar after dark needs a lit area. Water nearby is helpful. If your space has limits, tell us and we will plan around them.
Guest numbers, drink selection and service style decide it. One bartender usually covers up to around 40 guests on beer, wine and simple cocktails; two is the norm for 40 to 80 guests with a cocktail menu. We recommend the number with your quote and never cut staff at the expense of service.
Yes. On our BYO packages you buy the alcohol with our purchasing guide, so you are stocked without overspending. If you would rather we supply the drinks, ask about an all-inclusive option.
Yes, we regularly work in apartments, penthouses and holiday rentals. Tell us about access, lifts and the space when you enquire, and we will recommend a set-up that fits, whether that is our mobile bar or a bartender working from the kitchen bench.
Yes. Every package is priced with a minimum booking duration so there is time to prepare, serve and pack down properly. The minimum is set out in your quote, all pricing is upfront, and parties held Monday to Thursday receive 20% off.
We are based in Brisbane and cover the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, with Sydney and events across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria by arrangement. Travel is quoted up front.
